PATRICK H. DOLLARD SHARES TCFD’S MODEL OF SERVICE DELIVERY AT NCE SUMMER LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE

The Center for Discovery®’s President and CEO, Patrick H. Dollard, shared his vision for the future of The Center with executives, leaders, and professionals from across the disability sector, at The NCE Summer Leadership Institute, hosted by The Arc and the National Conference of Executives of The Arc (NCE), in Charleston, SC.

The mission of the event was to make sure that  “everyone works better and smarter toward a shared purpose: ensuring people with intellectual and development disabilities (I/DD) achieve their full civil and human rights and are fully included in their communities.”

Patrick’s presentation focused on “Developing New Models of Service Delivery” that illustrated The Center’s incredible growth and success in every area of the organization – including the new Children’s Specialty Hospital and Research Institute. Additionally, his presentation featured The Center’s green and sustainable buildings, the Department of Nourishment Arts’ groundbreaking and unique approach to food is medicine, and an inclusive and healthy community model based in Hurleyville. What’s more, Patrick shared with a captive audience The Center’s major research studies and collaborations that work to advance care for those with complex conditions, like autism, and other developmental disabilities.
