The Center for Discovery is proud to announce that it has been awarded a grant from the Mother Cabrini Health Foundation to support capital improvements across its campuses, including facilities that support its residential, school, and day habilitation programs, along with its Discovery Health Center.
The funding will strengthen infrastructure, enhance safety, and support aesthetic and environmental upgrades throughout campus buildings and residences, ensuring that the children and adults we care for receive support in spaces that are both therapeutic and thoughtfully designed.
“We are deeply grateful to the Mother Cabrini Health Foundation for their continued partnership and investment in our mission,” said Dr. Terry Hamlin, President & CEO of The Center for Discovery. “These capital improvements represent far more than building upgrades – they enhance safety, strengthen our infrastructure, and create environments where individuals and families can heal, grow, and thrive. This support allows us to continue advancing a new standard of care for some of New York’s most vulnerable residents.”
The Mother Cabrini Health Foundation is a private, charitable not-for-profit organization dedicated to improving the unmet health and wellbeing needs of all New Yorkers, including the poor, disadvantaged, underserved, and disabled.
The Center for Discovery looks forward to continuing its valued partnership with the Mother Cabrini Health Foundation in advancing innovative, compassionate care across New York State.
