Customized Training and Continuing Education
As an IACET Approved Provider, The Center for Discovery® provides expert level, specialized instruction and training on a variety of best practices for complex conditions, including Autism Spectrum Disorder. We offer in-person trainings at our resource hub, the Rock Hill Training Center (future home of the Children’s Specialty Hospital), located at 195 Lake Louise Marie Road in Rock Hill, NY, along with online trainings through My Learning Plan. Additionally, we travel to provide a range of customized trainings. More specifically, we offer:
- Comprehensive in-person and online professional development opportunities for staff
- 80-hour orientation program
- 40-hour specialized certificate programs
- Continuing Education Units (CEUs)
- Education and in-classroom support for regional teachers and their school personnel
- Training and education programs for the community
Our trainings address all aspects of The Center’s HealthE6® lifestyle medicine approach, including Evaluation, Environment, Eating and Nutrition, Energy Regulation, Emotional Regulation, Evidence-Based Education and Treatment.
