THE CENTER FOR DISCOVERY’S INTEGRATED ARTS TEAM LAUNCHES NEW RESOURCE HUB

TCFD Swimming Pool

The Center for Discovery® recently launched a new resource hub as an extension of its Integrated Arts Program. The landing page, which can be accessed here, https://thecenterfordiscovery.org/integrated-arts-training-initiative/, houses a variety of program guides and materials consistent with our Integrated Arts Program in areas such as Recreation Therapy, Food and Farming, Creative Arts, Music Therapy, and more. The hub also provides access to The Center for Discovery’s Healing Arts Manual, which expands on these creative therapeutic programs.

Whether you’re interested in how to use the farm to teach and heal, or how to promote self-expression through the arts, this resource hub is widely available for those who wish to implement these programs into their own settings and/or organizations. Along with program guides and a manual, visitors to this page can also expect to find additional information such as:

  • The Center for Discovery’s Pandemic Response as it relates to the Integrated Arts
  • A Virtual Integrated Arts Program
  • A link to a YouTube playlist including recently recorded virtual seminars led by The Integrated Arts Team

The Center’s Integrated Arts team has set out to transform residential living by creating highly individualized therapeutic experiences, designed to radically enhance personal achievement and challenge society’s expectations of individuals with the most complex needs. Our team designs enriching experiences that unlock potential and encourage participants to explore, learn, and grow.
