The Center for Discovery® is thrilled to release its 2020 Annual Report.
2020 was a year like no other. The entire Center for Discovery community of staff, residents, students, and families faced a new reality that brought on some of the greatest challenges of our time. Despite those challenges, each one of them got up stronger – and with more resolve than ever before.
The Center for Discovery® had zero fatalities due to COVID-19. We secured record donor engagement and national press coverage despite no in-person fundraising events. We received a $35 million dollar low interest loan from the USDA for the construction of our future Children’s Specialty Hospital. We made sure that our residents and staff were at the front of the line, receiving the COVID-19 vaccine as soon as it became available in late 2020.
There is bravery, passion, and power in each individual at The Center for Discovery®. We are so excited to share with you the heroic work of each of them.
