TCFD Thanksgiving Farm® Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Program
Are you a family or community member looking to join our Community Sponsored Agriculture (CSA)? Every year, our very own Thanksgiving Farm® supports 300 Community Sponsored Agriculture (CSA) share members, including TCFD staff and families, along with members of the surrounding community. Our Thanksgiving Farm® spans 300+ certified organic and biodynamic acres throughout our Stonewall Preserve, Tutto Bene Farm, Hadley, Vista, Sweet Hill and our Main Campus, or home farm – all local farms within Sullivan County, New York. On an annual basis, Thanksgiving Farm® grows over 60 different kinds of vegetables, flowers, and herbs, and is also home to three orchards.
The 2020 Thanksgiving Farm® CSA distribution will begin the week of Tuesday, June 2nd, and will continue for 23 weeks through November 3rd. The Saturday distribution will begin on Saturday, June 6th, and will conclude on Saturday, November 7th. Members are invited to pick up their share one day per week at either of the following locations and times:
- Tuesdays: 3:15pm and 6:00pm, Location TBD
- Saturdays: 10:00am to 12:00pm, Location TBD
In light of Covid-19, there will be slight changes to pick-up procedures for this year’s CSA. If you have any questions about these new procedures, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. There is a revised Harvest Schedule on the back of the Prospectus for crop species.
We will also be offering 3 Flower U-Picks to all CSA Members at their pick-up time. These 3 dates will be spread out from July through September and will be announced when the lower crop is ready to be picked.
