TCFD Thanksgiving Farm® Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Program
Are you looking to join our Community Sponsored Agriculture (CSA)? Each year, our very own Thanksgiving Farm® supports over 300 Community Sponsored Agriculture (CSA) share members, including TCFD staff and families, along with members of the surrounding community. Our Farm spans 300+ certified organic and biodynamic acres throughout our Stonewall Preserve, Tutto Bene Farm, Hadley, Vista, Sweet Hill, and our Main Campus, or home farm – all local farms within Sullivan County, New York. On an annual basis, Thanksgiving Farm® grows over 60 different kinds of vegetables, flowers, and herbs, and is also home to three orchards.
By signing up for a CSA, participants can enjoy a variety of produce including green beans, various cabbages, lettuce, carrots, cauliflower, sweet corn, garlic, onions, potatoes, squash, and much, much more. Each week, participants can expect to receive 6-8 different kinds of vegetables.
The 2021 Thanksgiving Farm® CSA distribution will begin the week of Tuesday, June 1st, and will continue for 23 weeks through November 2nd. The Saturday distribution will begin on Saturday, June 5th, and will conclude on Saturday, November 6th. Members are invited to pick up their share one day per week at either of the following locations and times:
- Tuesdays: 3:15 pm to 6:00 pm at 507 Old Route 17, Monticello, New York 12701
- Saturdays: 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at 507 Old Route 17, Monticello, New York 12701
In light of Covid-19, there will be slight changes to pick-up procedures for this year’s CSA. If you have any questions about these new procedures, please email csa@tcfd.org. There is a revised Harvest Schedule on the back of the Prospectus for crop species.
